Positive Ageing Month is a month-long festival of events and activities celebrating older people and their contribution to their communities.
Throughout October, the team at Hourglass NI is attending events across Northern Ireland, raising awareness of everything the charity does to support the safer ageing of older people. From pop-up events to roadshows and webinars, our team will be there for anyone who wants to meet, learn about the work we do and receive support.
Shaun Paskin, Development Manager had this to say:
Positive Ageing Month is a much-needed event in Northern Ireland, where local authorities have come together with charities and services to recognise and help older people in the community.
When I was first contacted about Hourglass taking part in Positive Ageing Month, it was an honour to be part of the PAM events across Northern Ireland. It is great to see the extent of Hourglass’ outreach, working alongside other organisations and charities throughout Northern Ireland, coming together to ensure the generation before us is having a positive living experience.
